Miu Miu reimagines the iconic loafer in a bold, provocative, and sophisticated version. In the 1950s, loafers were part of the uniform of American prep school and college students. Students against wearing the required attire started inserting a one cent coin in the slot of the band, which led to it being called the Penny Loafer.
